Painting Auction #50
I rescued these Chinese lantern pods from a yard refuse pile just around the corner from my house. I had knocked several times on the owners door seeking permission to pick some from their garden, but never caught them at home. But once a few were in the refuse pile, I just snatched them and hung them to dry for a few days.
This work ships unframed, but below is how the painting might look if you framed it. This work is painted on oil primed linen and mounted on board.
I do offer frames now. if you click on this link, you can see some framing options I offer as well as some links to a few internet companies that offer a variety of frames. Your local framer probably has many inexpensive choices as well. I strongly recommend a floater frame for small paintings such as this.
